When installing an oil catch can has anyone also used the blind plugs to block off the pcv port
and the throttle body port.......in place of the pcv hose.......

 

on the passenger side yes i did. my catch can would really only catch anything during colder months. I still had to walnut blast the intake valves to correct misfires, so what i was trying to do, didnt really help. If you are going to run catch cans, just run it on both sides. GTT from over UK, made some great videos on the N14 PCV system. I sent the one to MINIMANADAM, so let me see if i can dig it up....

 

Thanks' for the info I sent him a message before when I was trying to purchase something.......it's been so long.....
I've watched several videos of the catch cans single and duals.......even some people using one can and the blind
plugs......I guess everyone does it their own way.....
