Hood latch Spring broke

Anyone know if this spring can be found separately (the large spring on the hood latch mechanism)? It appears Mini and others only sell the entire latch assembly.
I'm guessing not but worth asking.

Haven't seen them sold separately. Hood catch should be fairly easy to find on junk yard if price is the issue.
