I think the latches may be stuck right under the hood. When I pull the handle on the driver side, the hood doesn’t pop open. But if you put your ear to the hood you can hear a “clicking” sound each time I pull it. I assume this means the latches are stuck? Any tips?

Well, I wouldn’t have posted a new thread if any of those solved my issue! I’ve already been through all of them, and nobody that I’ve seen has discussed about the “clicking” sound that I’m describing.

I’ve seen broken cable, plastic piece falling out of its slot, frozen latches, etc… but not working cable AND latches but still no hood open

 

If you did read thru them you would have found a couple of suggestions on how to get your hood open when the latch isn't working (even when it is 'clicking'). Here's a link to a full diagram of the hood latch assembly. Enjoy.
