Hpfp no voltage, engine not starting

Hello guys.
i need some help with my mini cooper s 2012 r56 n18 engine.
the car wont start, after couple of weeks of trying to diagnose where the issue is looks that it might have to do with the power connection to the hpfp.
Fuel comes all the way at the hpfp at 70psi but doesnt come out of the hpfp to the fuel rail before injectors.
I bought a brand new hpfp thinking that might be the issue and i have the same problem, it wasnt the hpfp fault

Diagnosing the connection to the hpfp harness i see no voltage.I cant find on the internet anything that has to do with that wiring, what fuse or relay gives command on that connection.

Any help please

On the later style that wire is used and make sure its hooked up correctly, also make sure its connected correctly and getting power.

According to Mitchell1, the two wires (white and black) come directly from the DME (no fuse): the circuit is for the pump's "volume control". There is no mention which wire is power or ground or how much voltage you should see on the wire. It also doesn't indicate when you should see power on the wire. For example, since this is the HPFP, you may not see power on (I'll guess the white wire), until the DME sees engine rotation as provided by the crank sensor. If you have a scan tool, you should be able to see the HPFP data PID on the tool.
