Just finished steering wheel wrap with the materials bought from Aliexpress for $20. Took 3 hrs from begin to finish.
This was my first try ever, so it's no where near perfect, but I think I can give 80. Not bad for the first timer.
The feeling of grab drastically improved, and looks so much better too imo.

With all that work you did, most would have wanted to do genuine leather. Good news is with synthetic leather, it should be more durable than leather.

I thought about getting the real leather, but it is a lot more expensive than artificial ($50 vs $12), and since this was my first time trying, there was a good chance to mess up. lol
