Bilstein B12 Pro Kit Reviews

Hey Team, does anyone have the Bilstein B12 Pro Kit suspension installed on their R56? The kit comes with Bilstein B8 Struts and Eibach Drop Springs and I’d like to get someone’s opinion if they have them and possibly a picture to see the ride height.

I took the chance and installed Raceland coilovers because I had a good experience with them on my 2003 GTI but after 6 months on the Mini, it’s time to switch back to a drop spring setup. Looking forward any feedback anyone can provide. The other option I have in mind would be to do the B8 struts and then HR Drop Springs instead of the Eibach.

We have reviews on some kits and parts.

" This kit is perfect for someone who wants better performance and is not concerned about adjusting ride height or damping and rebound. I had fully adjustable on a prior car and found that after it was set I never moved it. This is the perfect setup for spirited driving or autocross. Installation on my 2010 Cooper S was a breeze with the ECS assemble installation kit (Thanks ECS!). I have limited experience doing this type of work and I installed the whole kit by myself in about 4 hours. Quality is great, fit is perfect and it’s almost as if the Mini engineers expected people to change their suspension. Unless you need adjustability, this kit is perfect. Slight drop in ride height is subtle but I can tell the car is turning in quicker, flatter, and I’m getting a little more rotation from the rear to speed up cornering and shrinking the FWD under steer. I will like follow up with a rear sway bar for additional rotation after some more testing. I’m very pleased. "
