JCW Plenum vs MCS

I have a 2008 MCS and have been wondering if the JCW air intake plenum is bigger than the MCS. I'm not finding much with Google Fu. Any knowledge from the community?

Nope, they are exactly the same.

Reference this site for parts diagrams and part numbers:

Outstanding! Thanks, njaremka. Is there an aftermarket intake plenum for these engines, or is it a waste of engineering and money for the stock turbo?

I am assuming you are referring to the intake manifold… I have seen one aftermarket billet version, but it really isn’t needed. There are a few characters that have gone into the 400 hp range with the stock manifold.

For bolt on performance, get a free flowing intake filter, a bigger intercooler, and a high flow down pipe.
