Correct hoses for catch can install

I am installing a catch can on the turbo side of my 2013 R56S (that's the only PCV hose on that engine), but want to make sure I'm getting the right hoses. I'll be cutting into the hoses coming out of the valve cover and the one going ot the turbo. Once I cut them, I'm committed and cannot run back to the auto parts store.

I'm told I need a 5/8" (ID) PCV/fuel hoses, but an advance stop at four different auto parts stores was met by a puzzled stare. I kept telling them not a heater hose, but the only "fuel" hose they had was 7/16".

Am I right about this 5/8" spec?

don’t really need to watch the video
, but check his description it has a list of parts he used and Amazon links. I actually used everything he had there with no issues.

I ran into the same issue. Napa was the only place that had the high pressure hose in the correct size.

Actually, the YouTube was not all that helpful. I still don't know the hose size. It links ot an Amazon listing but does not give the ID of the hose.

If I remember correctly mine was a 350psi hose. I think I got around 6ft for $30. Works like a champ

And I had to use these connectors to make it all work. It was a very tight fit with the stiffer psi hose, but it works and has been on my car for almost a year with no issues
