I took my N14 engine and 6 speed transmission out of my 2010 Cooper S R56 last year and am just now putting back together. I have one connector around the intake manifold I can’t seem to find a mate for. What am I missing? It is 2 pins and the number on the side is 24009 E. It has to be something close to this location because it’s in the same loom as nearby connectors.

 

VANOS on the rear of cylinder head? I was just in there myself last week...kind of looks like it

 

What are the wire colors?

N14 doesn't have an intake VANOS.

 

The wires are orange and yellow or maybe the orange is a faded red.

 

I think I found where it goes but the wires seem right to reach here.
