VANOS reset adaptations

I am looking for a tool that will reset Vanos adaptions in a 2011 MCS N18. Noone seems 100% sure
ECS says this one should
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben...CABEgIfqfD_BwE
but the Foxwell version says it wont.
Is there any tool/program under 300 USD that will do this? Im into this car for over 2000 bucks this year just in parts and am running low on funds

I am a bit iffy on trying the power latch procedure. thanks for the help. Keelynn

Are you replacing your VANOS solenoids? If so, I replaced both mine, and never had to reset anything.... Maybe they WON'T reset adaptation because you don't need to?

I replaced both before I found out the plastic guide rail was broken while changing a leaking oil pan gasket. Had to change the timing chain and rails and its recommended to reset vanos adaptions after that job.
