Fan Fuse Problem

Hello everyone, I have a 2012 mini cooper s LCi R56.
The problem is with the 40A F8 fuse that blows when the fan is turned on when it reaches operating temperature. You can hear the fan start and stop immediately, and the fuse is blown.
Any idea of the problem?

Can really only be one of three things:

Fan motor is going, a short circuit in the wiring, or the control switch.
