Coding Union Jack tail lights.

So heres a thing. I fitted some aftermarket (Helix, I belive) Union Jack tail lights to my car, It's a R59 but I believe everything to be the same as the R56.

I am now getting the Left and Right Brake light malfunction errors. I have used the Bimmer Code app in Basic mode to select the LED setting for the brake lights but still getting error messages.

I understand there may be more coding to do but can only info on 3rd generation cars.

Can anybody help with what I need to do or point me in the right direction.

Ta muchly Derek

Hi..

Did you solve this? I am stuck with the same problem after UJ tail lights retrofit on R58.

Thanks.

Solved by coding the car to all led lights. Used Bimmercode and an ODBadapter

Any chance you got the individual parameters? I only have NCS expert available.

Not the individual parameters. I just searched through all the parameters for the Footwell module that mentioned rear lights. The error code I was getting was for the rear side lights. I didn't use expert mode on my Bimmercode app as I can't read German and it was very confusing.

I also contacted the app developer and he was very helpful.

Ive attached my FSW_PSW.trc file if you would have time to take a look at it the parameters in there. Its the same as expert file in Bimmercode.
Maybe any of it will ring a bell. Hope you can help me out.

Yes to the above post. My Helix Union Jack tails are PNP, no coding needed.
