New to me 08 turbo S 6spd

Hello everyone. I've been a long time lurker of this site. And after months of thought, I just purchased my first mini.
That being said, I have owned nearly 100 vehicles. This one, for whatever reason... happens to be my favorite.. (though I enjoy my 290k mile e46 bmw aswell.)

My aunt spec'd this one out brand new in 08. Has every option except nav, and has the dealer installed jcw stuff. I have literally every single receipt for everything done to or purchased for the car. Including the invoice for a brand new long block that mini put in at 60k miles. Currently has 106k miles and was her primary highway vehicle.

It was for this reason I felt like it would be a great purchase. Which I have not regretted one single bit.

I look forward to being a part of the community. And i will try to keep my nonsense to a minimum. I will post a pic of my mini... whom i have fondly name 'Felicity Shagwell'

Trash pic.

Shagadelic Baby! Cool name
Welcome to the community! These cars are fantastic machines not only to drive but to maintain and to mod. I have not owned nearly as many cars as you but this is definitely one of my top favorites if not the favorite.

Well heck, clutch TOB started making some interesting erroneous noises today.... guess I start saving up.... probably going to just pop for a single mass conversion. I can do the work myself. While I'm in there I'll probably do a bigger FMIC, and delete the sound generator and intake resonator.... and control arm bushings.... and brakes.... and replace the struts since one in the front and back are leaking fluid.... and a valve cover.... and plugs and coils, and occ's.... vacuum pump was never done so might as well.... oh and the tensioner and friction wheel... heck water pump and thermostat and coolant tube............ Jesus its like owning a BMW all over again..... Hahahhahhaah the fun never ends!!!!
