Does anyone have an article/experience that DIRECTLY refers to how to most efficiently change the Automatic Transmission Filter in a Mini Base Coupe 2012 R56 N16 (Vin..T258102) ? I have read the pelican and Motoring.com articles that apply to a range but I am not confident it fits the 2012 R56 N16. I am reading conflicting articles about lowering subframe and 'drilling a hole in subframe' to avoid this action. I have the AT Filter Kit on order and need to advise my local non-mini mechanic. I am planning on flushing tranny and replacing fluid and filter at 109K Kms. Slight shifting issues in lower gears.
