Gfb dv+ p115c???

Just installed a GFB DV+ and everything was fine until I decided to jump on it a bit and check the boost... Instant P115C and limp mode (no turbo). Anyone else experience this or is it just a coincidence and something else causing this error? I can reset the code and if I baby it...all is good. As soon as I get to 10-12psi the code hits again.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Any other MINI specific codes being stored?

Have you tried running with out the larger main spring?

It's too hot right now...I figured I'd post while I wait for it to cool down. Yeah I'm going to pull the big spring off the top piston and see if that helps. Thanks!

I'm mostly curious if there are any other MINI codes stored for the fault. P115C is a general OBD code. With the CAN bus system on the MINI there should be other codes to help clue you in to the details, but you need a BMW/Mini code reader to get them out.

Probably my bad for clearing them all out days ago...but nothing else popping up.

Basically just wondering is this is the CEL people get when they complain about the DV+ or if I should just go back to the stock diverter?

I should have searched first...

See here:

Maybe your full throttle romp pushed a boost tube loose.
