active headlight help and airbag light

i have a 2013 mini cooper s. i hit a deere destroying one headlight that then cause a code to pop up basically stating my lights broken. ive since replaced the light as of yesterday but the headlight code is still on the dash where my mph should be. the headlights have defaulted to aiming at the ground.
so im curious if this something id have to take up with the dealership, or otherwise i have access to a MAC TOOLS obd scan tool from my uncles shop or id like to purchase the schwaben scan tool if it would help me in these situations. because from what i understand is that it may need to be reprogrammed and im not sure if thats something only the dealership could do.
Also i have replaced my driver side door that had a dent in it. Afterwards the airbag light had came on and will not go away. ive since tried clearing the code and it pops right back up.
Is it possible for me to take care of these issue with a scan tool or the schwaben scan tool.

A BMW compatible scanner is a must. The codes will tell you what is wrong. Otherwise we and you will be guessing. My guess is your g-sensor got smacked by the deer. Or it could be the seat position sensor. Or...

yeah my uncle scanner does read the codes just fine and lets me test functions. it had said something along the lines of a passenger seat sensor fault, but the thing is that only happened right after i removed the door. i then started and moves the car without the door and it had shown the code and ligjht, i then put the other door on and it didnt go away. i went ahead and ordered the schwaben scanner because ive been wanting it for a long time and im sure its going to pay for itself in the first use, because just airbag diagnosis starts at 150, then the headlight reprogram costs at a minumum of 200. not to mention ive been needing to monitor my fuel pressure on cold starts and diagnose a few engine issue.
