Airbag Light Came On in Cold Weather

It seems that my airbag light came on when it got quite cold this winter. My Mini is 06 with 68K. Just seem like too soon to have an airbag issue.

All my other cars are Audis and VW's and I have a RossTech VAG tool for clearing those codes.

Is there such a tool for Minis?

I really appreciate any help you folks can give. I did a search and not much hit on my answer.

You can do it with this tool I think.

Maybe a local shop has a high-end scan tool and can reset it for you for a small fee. I know my son has one in his shop so they're out there.

There is this too ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Memo-Scanner...-/371006652800

68K does seem too early for an airbag issue. You should scan the code to see if it provides more detail about the cause (it might not, though).
