After taking a bunch of stuff off the engine in order to replace the water pipe (from water pump to thermostat) it seems as if I have an extra electrical connector without a home. It looks a bit dirty, and possibly unused, but I'm not sure if this is some extra connector or if I missed one. Can't find anything obvious nearby that it would plug in to.
Thats for the alarm contact sensor under the hood( if optioned). Mine have a short sensor wire that connection to that and goes to the mount near the firewall. i know the one of the valve cover is plugged and this doesn't reach it anyway, BUT electrically speaking the wires trace to this plug. When i did my N18 swap, i left it hanging. There should be another plug for this one hanging under the transmission bracket or ECU.
