Suggested adhesives or something similar

Hi everyone,

I have a 2013 hatchback. You know the chrome trim around the tail lights? I was replacing a tail light bulb and in the process I broke a couple of the tabs that attach the trim to the light. It still feels pretty damn secure even with those two broken tabs. But out of an abundance of caution, anyone have suggestions on how I can make it a bit more secure? An adhesive or something else? Of course, it has to be something decently strong but not permanent because the trim will have to come off again if another bulb needs to be replaced.

Thanks all.

3M makes a double-sided tape for attaching small items like emblems and such. I believe the 3M part number is 03609.

Use silicone sealant, prevent water ingress and easy to remove later.

I used dollar store hot glue gun on front trim, don't know the access point on your rear light trim.
