Anyone use the JOM Coilovers on an R56 before?

bought and just installed a set of the JOM Blueline coilovers for my 2007 s and the OEM front stab links are too long, and the ones that came with the kit are too short. I’m using them at the minimum 20mm lowering point, as I didn’t want to lower the car any, but these were cheaper than buying stock coil springs and struts (I had a broken rear spring so I needed new ones). Any have a problem with the links before?

Yup, part number 741176. Bought the kit and one of the rear upper spring seats is missing. It’s coming from Germany, so I have 3 new struts - lowered 20mm - and one OEM. They totally screwed me. Not recommended. I can say if you are looking for only the minimum 20 mm drop, don’t start with the spring preload all the way at max Because the straps are adjustable way outside of the 20-90 mm range. Rides like crap at the moment. The struts are supposedly adjustable from 20 mm to 90mm drop, they claim anything more than a 40 mm drop requires use of the stab links that come with the kit. That utter BS. The OEM stab links are 13” long. The new ones are 6-1/4”. Since the mounting points on the news front struts for the stabilizer links are lower than they are on the OEM struts, my original stabilizer links wouldn’t fit (The stab Lankes cause the sway bar to hit the control arms) but the supplied links were too short, causing the sway bar to hit the frame. I had to make my own stabilizer links by cutting my original ones down to 9 inches, and then sleeving them with a piece of stainless tubing then welded them up.

Great, so I need to spend an unexpected $140 - no way. I’m still getting this stupid rich code P218 and if I have to put any more Money in this oil burning POS, I’m going to drive it off a cliff!

I’m getting oil leaking on the ground about 10-12 inches in front of where the gas pedal is. Actually, looks more up front near the center. I have a new Mecaplast cover, timing chain and guides, not seeing any obvious leaks from cover, I’ve done new manifold gaskets, coils, plugs, new valve cover to TB tube, pipercross filter, my front pipe just starting leaking at the flex section, I’m pretty sure the B1S1 O2 is shot, and now im getting codes for the B1S2 sensor. Might have a bad cat. I’m so over this portly desigh pos. To top it off, pass door won’t open and neither does the sunroof
