Remove hatch waist line trim?

I've searched and searched. The best I could find was to pull it away and pull down. That didn't work. Already broke off the end tabs and had to glue them back on. I need to put a new one on without breaking the hatch glass or scratching the paint. Help!

Where the arrows point

Remove the end clips with a pic tool and then SLIDE the chrome strip to the right with the hatch open.

So the tip of the arrow goes around the rear glass?

The entire piece has to slide on?
