CRC Intake Cleaner

So I have heard about the carbon buildup on our cars. I have always been true believer on the occasional fuel additive for my other cars just to keep everything going how they should, and its kind of fun to get a little pep while it burns through. I was researching buying the equipment to do the walnut blasting myself, but I ran across a video about this cleaner so I decided to give it a shot. I am not in anyway trying to advertise for this company but I definitely see a difference in both "pick up" and gas mileage. I'm sure its not as dramatic as having the intake blasted but its much simpler and cost effective.

If you added it to the fuel it has 0 chance of cleaning the carbon on the valves. Fuel never touches our valves and as such no treatment added to the fuel will do anything. Very well could be a placebo effect. Only way to clean our valves is to drop the manifold and either clean them manually or use walnut blasting

Yes as I said before I used fuel additive to my other cars. Our cars are direct fuel injection so it wouldn’t do anything. This is sprayed directly into the intake making sure not to spray it on the MAFS. You spray in the whole can then shut it down to let it heat soak. Then you start it up and burn baby burn lol. Next time I’m going to take off the intake manafold and clean it directly with this cleaner. It’s a pretty cool option without buying all the equipment to walnut blast.
