Drivetrain CAN I use any foam filter cleaner to clean my alta intake?

CAN I use any foam filter cleaner to clean my alta intake?

i wonder can i use any foam filer cleaner kit to service my alta intake??

No clue about that brand. I was going to use just a heavy oil like motorcycle sprocket oil until a guy showed me that the Unifilter oil has a sticky feel as well as being a heavy oil. For the cost I went with the Unifilter Cleaner & Oil. You should beable to get it at most any dealer the sells Honda motorcycles.

i went the honda dealer the other day , but i can't find any uni filter cleaner kit. they just have some motocycle foam filter oil..

I would ask to feel the oil. The UniFilter has a slight "Tacky" feel when you seperated your fingers. Might go to www.unifilter.com and see if you can order on line or, if they list distributors.
