The Foxwell NT510 is the same tool for $150. It can adjust the idle among tons of other things. Best tool you could buy if you have a mini.

I got this but there is no function to adjust idle on mine. It says “communicating with drivetrain” for about a minute, and then returns to the previous screen.

Do I need an update or a more expensive version? Mine says BMW/MINI Scanner 14020 SCH on the front.

FYI
Anyone who has ISTA (I used ISTA+) ​​​​​can raise the RPM, too.
INPA should work too
A simple K+Dcan cable was good enough.

I think the max idle rev is around 800 or 850rpm
