R56 Key Fob Stuck Wouldn’t Start

Key Fob Stuck Wouldn’t Start
Hi. New here and to minis.
This morning wife called from work and said the fob was stuck and her new to us 2008 MCS and it wouldn’t start.
She said it was in Park, tried the break, pulled a little hard, cursed....I’m thinking tow truck, battery, replace mechanism....$$$$
Someone at work told her to wiggle the steering wheel. Guess what. It worked. Are you sure? She says yes, definitely the steering wheel.
Thought i would share in case someone else has this same problem.
