Hey, I currently drive the 2007 Mini Cooper base model and was interested in getting a newer mini cooper but the S model so I can upgrade it much easier and have more fun. The two main ones I was looking at were:

1 - 2013 Mini Cooper S (39,000KM) for $19,900

2 - 2012 Mini Cooper S with JCW styling package (rims, seats, skirt) also with NAV but 87,000KM for $18,000

Which one would you recommend and why? Also trying to keep this car for along time and will be daily driver thanks!

 

I think they are both over priced.

 

Putting aside price , I don't like paying for extra plastic bits that don't really do much. A real JCW is fine for me. I would go #1 if price and conditions work.

 

They seem like Canadian prices to me but between the two, I would go for the lower mileage one unless the appearance is really important to you. The JCW does look good and many here have spent loads making their cars JCW clones so that does have value. How much value is the big question. Pictures would be good if you have them.

Go with the 2013 if your budget can handle it. Less miles, one year newer, good looking car! I'm sure there is some wiggle room on the price.
