Wheel and brake clearance

So I own a 2008 MCS, i just recently purchased a set of Avid-1 wheels in 16x8 ET25. Yesterday I got a set of 195/50 Toyo tires ,I got home and put all my wheels on. I went to go drive to my friends house but the second i started to move i could hear/feel grinding and scraping. I jacked my car up and took my wheels off again, to find out that only my right front wheels was grinding on my caliper. I tried to gently sand down the inside of my wheel where it was scraping, didn't help at all. So next I gently sanded down my caliper, but that didn't work. the last thing I tried was to grind down the caliper a couple of mm's. This ended up working but in the next month or so i will need to replace my front pads and rotors. Im scared that this will greatly increase the scraping on my wheel. I was thinking about running spacers(10mm spacer) but i will be poking so much with a 25 offset already. I was wondering if there are any other options out there that will solve my problem. I will be adding pictures of my car with the wheels on.
I am pretty new to this forum so if there is anything else you guys need too know to help me please just ask.

That's not a good wheel choice for a Mini. Compare it to any of the stock wheels and the difference in clearance for the brake caliper is obvious. You didn't say if the rubbing is happening on the barrel of the wheel or the spokes, if it's the spokes then a spacer will help but then you'll have even more poke.

Sell them and get something with more clearance for the brakes, I don't think it is a good idea to be grinding down your brakd calipers. Sorry for being blunt.
