Started fine all year...I drive A 2011 MCS....then this morning it didn't sound right almost like the turbo died or something. Stopped by AutoZone right across the street and got the P0303 with their handy code reader. My question is...is it as simple as a spark plug change? Or Will there be more to it than that? Seen other similar parts for bad coils or something. I bought this car in Dec with 55k. And it has 58k now. And first mini...and don't want to pay a shop high costs..

Inspect plugs, swap a coil to see if it follows to the other cylinder.

 

I'm in the midst of changing plugs. What socket is best to use? Apparently my 5/8" spark plug socket isnt long enough.

 

Also have this 3 on left 4 on right

 

The spark plug socket is a thin wall 12 point. Be careful as the wrong socket can get stuck in there when trying to remove it. This is a good long plug socket that won't get stuck.
