I'm in the rear seats with the electrical plug disconnected but I can get out the fuel line. There is no way by pressing nor opening the side tabs on the plug.
I have the fuel pump with integrated filter (trying to extract the pump to clean the filter).
Anyone with experience?
I don't want to break it by playing with the side tabs : (
Just press hard and carefully both tabs on the sides and then pull the plug tightly without any care.
The level of adrenaline and heart rate will rise immediately when the connector is out
I hope this info can help somebody with this pump model on his fuel tank.
Ya, you start by pressing the tab (green arrow below) on the pressure line and holding while pulling the line straight off. If you or anyone else needs help with this in the future, we have a fuel pump replacement article on our site with detailed images that can help. Under MINI > Tech Info (tab at top) > R56 articles > Fuel injection.

Thank you for your comment!
I was searching all the day on PelicanParts.com while thinking how to get out the fuel plug.
I think it is a little different plug (could be the one on your picture have only 1 tab?), but it is very similar procedure with a 2 tabs plug
