Rear Wiper Nozzle

Hi guys so I took off the black cover that goes over the nipple/nut and its all rusted. I want to take it off and clean it but is the nipple and nut one piece? Will I have anything to worry about deeper than the nut that could be rusted?

Thanks

Herbie

Clean off the wiper unit itself anf the head with PB blaster then fish a thing wire into the nozzle to unclog it , its ist really bad and rusted shut , it will need replaced.

Is yours not working? If you have access to it, try blowing some compressed air through the hole. There's some really good advice and info in this NAM thread HERE that you should check out.

It wasn't I fixed the small black nozzle on the outside of the cover but the retaining nut that goes over the motor in ECS picture has become very rusted so I was trying to find out if the nozzle in the same picture was attached to the nut because that is obviously what was clogging it so badly when I took it off. The head of the motor isn't attached to the nut so hopefully a wire brush and pb blaster will take the rust off.

Thanks Everyone!

Hit it with some PB blaster, get the nut off, then feed a wire in and unclog it
