Changing the timing chain, and while trying to take off one of the dampener bolts the crank shaft rotated counter clockwise and the crankshaft locking tool is not locking into place. Is this the reason, or can i continue to rotate the crank shaft clock wise until the tool locks in place. Or does the engine now need to be retimed from scratch?
