Just Picked Up My New MCS

After about a week of looking and trying to decide if I really wanted one or not, I decided to drive out to AZ this morning to look at one, and ended up coming home with it. It made it home, so that's a good start. Needs a thorough cleaning, and a couple things will be changed right away (hood scoop for instance).

It's a 2008 6-speed manual car with 86k miles; has convenience package, sport package, and factory LSD. Color is Dark Silver and has Carbon Black Checkered cloth interior.

Getting her tucked in for her first night at home:

Congratulations, again. LSD, nice!

For the hood scoop, are you just going to re-paint it to match the color? If you're wanting a bit of a performance upgrade, there is the M7 Speed Vortex Scoop here. It not only gives you a more aggressive appearance, but it will deliver more air and more cooling power.

I think the scoop being matched to the roof looks nice on your setup, not many cars can pull off the different colored scoop.

The R56s does not have a top mount intercooler so scoops don't affect charge density or cooling.

Thank you all! The scoop and the rear hatch handle were both matched to the roof color, and it didn't look too bad...just not my style. Fortunately the original pieces were included with the car, so it was an easy (cheap) switch.
