Road Bike in an R53

Good Evening,

When I first started looking at MINIs a few months back, one of my questions was "will a road bike fit in a MINI?"

Since I've had Neville for about week, I decided to check the fit. I moved the passenger seat forward and took the front wheel off the bike and it fit fine! In the future I would put a towel down where the fork contacts the car.

For reference, this is a 56cm square road bike with the seat set around 71cm.

Hopefully this helps someone else who might be asking this question.

Chris

I had the same concerns as you when I was looking for an R53, in my case it's mountain bikes. Although I could fit them, because of the mud after rides and for ease, I ended up getting the Yakima system and a RockyMounts Brass Nuckles.
