Yellow check engine light came on solid yellow in speedo. Used torque, ultra gauge, and even went to advance auto. No codes. Would appreciate any thoughts or ideas. Even tried clearing the CEL via ultra gauge but it stays on.

 

Sounds like a BMW/Mini specific code. If so, you'll need to take it either to the dealer or independent that works on Minis to read it..

Yes, sometimes generic code readers can't read those codes. The code will still be stored even though it went off. I'd recommend getting the code checked out so that you can determine what issue it may be and fix it now instead of waiting for it to come back.
