I just bought a 3030g. I have a yellow engine light in my wife's 2010 base model. I hook up the scanner per the manual and select mini as the car option but it comes back saying there are no fault codes and nothing is in the computers memory. What's up with that?? Am I doing something wrong?

Did you turn the car over to accessory mode? Like hit the ignition button with your foot off the clutch? There should be an explanation point on the dash first then it should read.

You could always go to the auto parts store and use theirs for free...

 

I have used allot of those universal scanner, some are really hard to pull codes up and find things,. Someone it takes a couple times to read like the actron units.
