Our 2003 MC was coming to the end of its service life.

So we bought a 2009 MC that's a nice car, but it does not handle like the 2003.

Does anyone have any suggestions that might help the new car's lack of 'go kart feeling'?

Stiffer springs, stiffer shocks, and take 500 lbs out of the car.

 

Sway bars, springs or coilovers, rear seat delete, strut reinforcement, sticky tires, lighter wheels (and smaller tires, like a 16" combo), sub frame bracing, engine mount stiffening, lighter aftermarket exhaust, and a tune. Perhaps that would be a start

 

stiffer rear sway bar, front camber plates, adjustable rear control arms, then get an alignment with at least -1.5 deg camber all around. Make sure you have good tires.

 

make siure you press the sport botton. It makes the car competly diffrenent. Brings back some of the go kart feel too.
