2009 Mini Clubman S 6spd Manual

This R55 has served the wife (and me) welll, but we need a larger vehicle. Absolutely 100% stock. Never been modified or chipped. In our ownership, this has never been redlined, raced, abused, or had the clutch ridden. We have enjoyed the mid-range torque and handling, and basically driven it sensibly and used it for short and long journeys equally - basically - it's got tons of life left in it; I know what tired turbo engines feel like!

We just completed a round trip to St Louis (500 miles or so) and it averaged 33.5mpg and didn't miss a beat.

We have owned it for almost five years, and put almost 40K miles onto it. Aside from cleaning it, all we have needed to have done is minor servicing including changing the oil (every 3-4K miles), brake pads, tires, replace the coolant and header tank (and thermostat as a precautionary measure at the same time), and replaced the mechanical fuel pump about two years ago. Pleased to report, that it has been 100% reliable all the time we've owned it, and has no check engine or other warning lights.

It accelerates, drives, stops, turns, as it should. It doesn't shimmy, rattle, bang, smoke or pop; it feels really good behind the wheel. You certainly wouldn't know the mileage by sitting in it or driving it.


The Bridgestone tires have less than 3000 miles on them.

It came from the factory with the following options (all of which work perfectly):
Climate control
Interior Accent lighting
Cruise
Bluetooth
Power Moonroof
Xenon HID headlights with washers
Power mirrors

It has the black cloth interior, and painted the rare Horizon blue metallic paint, with the silver roof and accents. I have two sets of keys, and the full owners manual is in the glovebox. I have both factory keys; both work!


As would be expected with a car of this mileage that was in use as a daily driver, there are a few little blemishes and issues, so please read this so you can be 100% sure what you are getting and aren't surprised. If it's not listed here, you can assume it is in good working order - otherwise I'd have listed it!

The passenger side door mirror cover and passenger rear wheel has scratched paint (see pics). The Hood is faded a little behind the scoop (pic), Hood also has a nickel sized chunk of paint missing courtesy of the gritter trucks last winter (pic) and top of hood has (fresh) scratches on top where my dog decided to chase a cat who took sanctuary on the safety of the hood this past weekend.
One of the front speakers probably needs replacing as it is very "boomy" - I'll probably get around to this over the weekend.

I just replaced the timing chain tensioner which fixed the occasional rattle (like very occasionally; nothing like as noisy or "violent" as some I've heard!!!)...

FWIW, The asking price of $6650 is $500 less than what I owe on it as of today, so I'm taking a hit, but I'm just sick of paying insurance and a loan on a car I don't need and rarely use.
