Inexplicable HP/torque

Ok. I've got a mystery.

After exhaustively modding my '07 S (bolt ons and tuned) and subsequently blowing one motor and a piston in the new motor ($$$ X 2), I reluctantly had the dealer flash the ECU back to stock. It was stupendously fast and powerful (Way tuned it.). We left all the bolt ons on.

But it's still reporting through DashCommand some ridiculous HP and torque.
As in, 261 HP and 510 ft-lbs at the flywheel level ridiculous.

I believe I've got the right configuration numbers in DashCommand, but I could be wrong. Everything else looks correct.

It'll chirp the tires at highway speeds if I stand on it to pass or change lanes.
And, it's an automatic.

Any thoughts?

Keith

PS the remaining drivetrain mods:
JCW intake, new K03 turbo (hot side wrapped by Way), NM pipes all around, Forge IC, new stock N14 engine, Way turbo manifold, full Akrapovic exhaust and downpipe.

Post a screen shot of your DashCommand settings. One of the most important is BSFC

Settings look ok to me. After reading thorough the DashCommand PID manual the only value that is really needed to produce a reading is curb weight.

Have you graphed a data log of the power/torque when doing a 3rd or 4th gear pull at WOT? I have found that DashCommand will get some spikes but looking at a graph helps to smooth it out.

BTW, did you ever dyno it when it was tuned?

Haven't, but will log on the commute tomorrow and take a look.

Didn't dyno it, but as Way said when I got it back from him, it was *fast*. After the first blown motor, with the new one installed and all mods intact, the boys at the dealership couldn't believe the low end power. Drove it great through this year's MOTD. Then half compression on cylinder four turned out to be a cracked piston. So now, clean, stock internals, de tuned, but with those bolt ons. I was very tempted to replace all the internals, port/polish, etc., but I'm already beyond $$$$ in mods so far this year... Need to wait a bit!
