Has anyone with OEM halogen headlights tried the new plug and play Cree LED bulbs? These bulbs have the built in fan mounted on the back of them to alleviate any over heating issues. It looks like there is plenty of room for these to fit. What issues might I run into if I were to do this? I've heard one is the burnt bulb warning at first start up but can be resolved by adding a resistor. Anything else that I should be aware of? I really just want some good white bright lights without going to the HID retrofit projector route. Btw, it's a MC 2011 with auto lights feature if that makes any difference. I also hear about the dealer having to flash the computer? Thanks!

 

Watch when you try LED or xenon retro-fits bulbs in the stock Halogen housing, they throw the light all over the place and are not focused like a projector for Xenon factory lights, also they blind on coming traffic. Have you looked at the Factory Xenon upgrade ? Or maybe the Spyder LED DRL halogen projectors ?

Also those aftermarket in the factory halogen might throw a bulb out error all the time till coded out.
