ABS module question

Hello All,
Looks like my abs module is bad , scanner say code 5e2c (control module supply). my question is can a matching used unit be recoded for the car or does it have to be a new one? local dealer says a used one is a one shot deal. I have A 07 MCS hatchback , also who can rebuild the unit? everyone I've asked said they didn't service this one.

Surely somebody knows if a used abs module can be recoded for a different car? or someplace that rebuilds them....

Yes we can recode a used abs module to your car. BUT, you must get the correct one. I've seen guys get one for ASC when they had DSC and vis verse but that won't work. So if you are getting a used one just make sure you get the correct one.
