R56 Front Bumper trim misaligned..easy fix?
Front Bumper trim misaligned..easy fix?
So I drove my 2013 R56S for the first time since early November today now that all the snow and salt is finally gone. Of course, hit a pothole on Route 78 in NJ and as soon as I parked I checked out the car. No wheel or tire damage, but I did notice that the bumper trim where the fender flares meet the bumper are a little out of whack. I'm not sure if it's a result of the pothole or if it's been like this since I got the car and I just didn't notice. Is this something that's easily fixed? Thanks in advance!!

This problem can respond to the wonderful Mini system to install and remove parts by "poping". That's my opnion seeing only 2 pictures.
Give me (it) a chance:
1) Squat down and take the front bumper corner base with your both hands.
2) Pull hard and fast up. It takes just less than 1 second.
Before this point check that the pull direction is not in the way of damaging something (Mini bumpers are very "sensitive").
You can repeat the push many time until you hear a sound ("pop")
Don't worry about it, it means that the pieces have become hooked

the wheel arch clicks into place on the front bumper in a really awkward way right there. Along with trying the above, if you unclip the 3 expansion clips and remove the service covers on the wheel well liners, you can pull them back and access 2 push clips holding the bumper and wheel arches together. 1 clip joins the 2 directly behind the seem on the rearmost portion and the other clip is behind the reflector.
