I know my exhaust is stock. Although the actual tips are significantly bigger than every other mcs I see on the road. The previous owner was an elderly guy and I have no reason to believe that he had the exhaust tips changed. Were they bigger for the 2010 model year?

 

Those look like the factory tips, but they are sticking out pretty far. There was supposedly a recall to change the tips so that they didn't stick out too far. On my 08, they wanted to change the tips, but the dealer was out of stock on the replacements. Mine looked like the same style as in your picture.

I switched to a factory JCW exhaust.

 

Oh ok. The strait pipe I used after I cut out the second cat and resonator is a little long, so the tips stick out about 1-2" past the bumper.
