Does this look stupid?

So I lost my front MINI emblem while I was driving today .. I remembered that i had an extra R56 emblem so I decided to see what it would look like as a replacement. I think it looks kinda cool but at the same time I think it looks silly.. What do you think? Should I just buy a new emblem?[IMG][/IMG]

Nah, but no one except someone in the Mini community would be able to decipher it.

I personally like de-badging. Makes it easier to clean and wax for one.

I personally hate de-baged cars, I think it looks cheap. When someone takes off the model of the car; that's okay... Hate seeing cars without logos. This of course is completely arbitrarily, to each his own.

Our opinions shouldn't matter, but for me personally, no but I went with the black pearl emblems for front and rear.

If you lived in Texas you could add some longhorns.

If you like it that is all that matters. That's why it's called "Youification"

No way did I spend $200 on those lol. Get one from eBay for $72(sold by Sewell) and the other from their site which is $70ish. My total was $143 with shipping.

Well that's definitely a better price, but still quite a bit more than I plan to spend on the emblem!

I had my holes plugged and had the hood repainted. I love the of being debadged and I plan on doing the same to my hatch when I get back from MTTS.

I just logged in it was $62 plus shipping it came to $74 for the rear. Buy the front one on eBay and that's $72-73 with FREE shipping. That's $146, you just saved $54.

looks "ok"... wrap it in black shiny vinyl or pain them shiny black; that would look neat. a little more subtle, and itll blend better with your other blacked out parts.

You could get a new one that will adhere correctly . Line up and peel and stick. You could warp it or paint it for something unique, before you install it. R56 is listed with year splits. And I went ahead and listed all the rest for reference for other model owners.

Front Hood Emblem : R55 Clubman, R56 Hatch, R57 Convertible, R58 Coupe', R59 Roadster ( Gen 2 ) :: Cooper 8/2010+ ;; Cooper S / JCW (ALL )

Front Hood Emblem : R55 R56 R57 Cooper ( Non S ) Emblem up to 8/2010

Rear ( Trunk ) Boot : R56 R57

Rear Clubman ( Barn door ) : R55

R58 R59 Rear Trunk emblem ( very small version )

Thanks
