Brake wear sensor question

When you replace the front brake wear sensor, should the brake trouble light go out on its own or do you have to reset something?

Here is the procedure for the reset in this thread and how the sensors mount into the pad.

Also make sure you have clipped the sensor on the female side of the round plug socket all the way into the male side. Two little prongs that will make contact. It should click the tabs when all the way in.

Thanks and good luck.
