R56 N14 or N18

N14 or N18
How can I tell which engine I have?
I have a 2011 Mini Cooper S, and when I am looking up parts;
for instance plugs on rock auto and I choose 2011 Turbo Charged it shows plugs for N14 and different ones for N18 engine.
Even some after-market parts I have looked up will say 2006-2011 N14 Engine only or 2011-2013 N18 Engine only.
I assume there was some kind of split year on this. Any help would be great.
Thank you - Mike

Correct: N14 For the Cooper S in 2007- 2010 , R56-R57 . In 2011 they went to the N18 , Cooper S R56-57. The JCW engine carried the N14 till 2012, R56-R59. Then in 2013 the JCW went to the N18 on the R56-R59 models.
Thanks and hope that helps.
