Hi has any one found aftermarket bearings for r56 ccoper s N14? Does any one know what the color codes sizes are? Does any one know the proper procedure for finding the code? I did ask at my local dealer. They are very nice but the information they gave me does not seem to match my engine. There are supposed to be codes on the top and bottom of the block and the crank shaft. I only have a code on the top half next to the oil cooler housing. The actual sizes would be best. I have never had to use codes before for a rebuild. I have just measured and used std. over or under only ever had one bad crank. Thanks

 

Ok Peugeot (EP6 DT=N14) is much better for bearings still short some info. The Black are standard Green for cranks with mileage, orange and yellow for cranks with work done. I would guess 0.0002 per step you have to get someone to go to Peugeot for you. The actual official bearing clearance would be nice.
