Weird sound after engine shutdown

So I've had this '11 mcs for 3 weeks and now it makes a weird sound after I shutdown the engine. I've searched around and I've seen threads that suggests it is the water pump going bad. Now my sound doesn't sound exactly like the videos posted here so i thought is post up my own video and get some opinion if this sound could be also be the water pump.

I have a very similar sound in my 2011 S. This is my second Mini the first one a non turbo. Both of them made the same noise when shutting the engine off. I can't tell you what it is but not to be alarmed. Minis in general are very quirky cars it is not unusual to hear strange noises from time to time. Most of the time when something disasters is accruing the computer will already be alerting you. Are you still under warrantee? If so stress your concern with the dealer on your next oil change.

Check this link. Sound is a little different but happens under same circumstances.

I have an 07 MCS that was making that same noise after every shutdown. Ended up taking it to the dealer and it was the boost solenoid. The part was about 80$ If I remember correctly. Not sure how much labor would be because they were replacing my valve cover as well and didn't charge me to change the solenoid.

Edit: didn't see the video from the op. My noise was the exact same as the video in the post above

I took the car to mini north Scottsdale and they diagnosed the water pump to be the one making the sound so they replaced it under warranty (I got 3k miles left). Turns out the sound is coming from something else, like some sort of actuator motor. Not sure what it is but it comes on when I cycle the ignition between I & II.

Fortunately it doesn't sound like the boost solenoid in the video above.

Doesn't sound like anything I should worry about but I will bring it up again just in case when I ask about the timing chain chatter I'm hearing. So close to the end of manufacturer warranty...I wanna make sure I get some use out of it as the second owner.
