R56 Best Driving Music?
I like this topic!
1. Bob Seger - Hollywood Nights
2. Eagles - Life In The Fast Lane
3. Fleetwood Mac - Tusk
4. Boston - First five songs off the first album
5. Bad Co - Electric Land
6. Earth, Wind, and Fire - Magic Mind
I think I've covered some of my favorite (faster paced) music from the 70's. I didn't even get into the instrumental music I like. My recommendation it to make a CD compilation of MP3s. I only have about 3 CDs I play in my car. Each one holds about 170 songs.

In order of preference:
And yeah, my choice of music reflects my age.
- Almost anything from Led Zeppelin II and IV (and a couple from III)
- Most Creedence Clearwater Revival songs
- Most up-tempo songs by the Guess Who
- A lot of up-tempo songs from the early '80s

While driving "Jeeves", I like to listen to:
doowop
standards
doowop
movie/show music
doowop
car/surf music
doowop
Did I mention doowop?
Yes, I am old but I like to think that driving a red MCS with white bonnet stripes and a 6-speed manual says that I still have a little bit of hell in me!

For me -
Little Feat, Waiting for Columbus live album
the full Springsteen catalog
the full Tom Petty catalog
the full Beatles catalog
Clapton
Jimmy Thackery
The Nighthawks
I have 21 days worth of music on my Ipod and a collection of over 3000 cd's but those are usually my first choices
