Door lock question

I took my car in for a service indicator and other items and they had to reprogram my computer fro something to do with calculating the brake replacement interval. Anyway, I now cannot see my trip meter on the right side of the display (which I have read about on here, but can't find the thread) but before the reprogram, when I pressed the unlock button on my fob, both doors unlocked with one button push. Now it takes two pushes of the button to get both doors unlocked. Can I get this function back somehow?

Thanks in advance

You can program the door lock behavior by following the instructions in this page:

http://www.ehow.com/how_7559073_prog...r-options.html

If I remember correctly you have to look for an icon that looks like a key. Good luck!

Read your owners manual, it'll tell you how to program that function and more. I can't remember all the steps off the top of my head.

door Lock Question

I did read the manual, but the manual says to do things that do not show up any more, after the reprogramming or I am missing something when I am trying the steps.

On a side note, take care with that tropical storm bearing down on you.

door lock question

Thanks to you all. I went to Mini today and they showed me what I was doing wrong. I was not getting to the key with the check. I now know what to do. Sooo as we used to say in the Navy "Operator Error" if there was a blush emoticon I would use it.

Thanks for all your input.
