I like it and don't like it at the same time. That front is a bit weird but I'm sure time will take care of that. The rear bumper looks great, can't wait to see it in JCW Aero form. Headlights are a neat touch. Let's just hope the interior comes out great.

///M-inspired power dome on the hood?

I think this will be like many other pre-anounced new vehicles.

You have to see the (Real-End Product) before you can decide if you are in or out.

The pics of the (still-disguised) F56 at the Ring show that the center section across the grille does not stick out in nearly as obnoxious a manner as implied by the pics in the Automobile postings. You can see it's there if you know to look for it (in profile) but not nearly as jarring as the images of the undisguised cars make it appear. The roofline also appears to flow much better in the Ring pics, among other things.

I'm pretty sure most of the "smashed its face in with a 2x4" look is actually due to lens distortion. Again. compare with the side-view from the Ring pics.

I don't think the car will look nearly as bad as it does from these images, frankly. I may not like it a huge amount, but I'm pretty certain it won't look as horrible as these pictures make it.
Not sure how a lens distorts parallel lines to be non parallel, but what I dislike the most is that the roof line sure seems to be sloping from front to rear. If I want a coupe look, I'll by a coupe...

The 5 bolt wheels will mean an end to retrofits, and the gas filler on the opposite side will require some re-programming of my brain.

Anybody notice how the side scuttle doesn't fit the housing ?

Appears they used and R56 scuttle to try to fool us. And the F56 will have a side scuttle that is more square-ish than rectangular.

Or so it seems.
